Collegiate & Campus Kappas

Begin your Kappa journey while still in school — information for education majors and campus chapter members looking to join the Kappa Kappa Iota family.

Start your Kappa journey in college

Collegiate membership in Kappa Kappa Iota is open to full-time education majors currently enrolled at accredited colleges and universities. It's the perfect way to build professional connections, develop leadership skills, and join a community of future educators before you ever set foot in your own classroom.

As a Collegiate Kappa, you'll participate in local chapter activities, gain access to national scholarship opportunities, and begin building the professional network that will support your entire teaching career. Upon graduation and entry into the profession, Collegiate Kappas can seamlessly transition into Active membership — carrying their Kappa bonds from campus into their careers.
