Dr. Mitzy Johnson-Mills
Dr. Mitzy Johnson-Mills has dedicated over three decades to the art and science of education. A beloved classroom teacher, mentor, and chapter leader, she has shaped the careers of countless young educators through her unwavering commitment to excellence, compassion, and the core values of Kappa Kappa Iota.

A tireless advocate for professional development and early childhood literacy, Dr. Johnson-Mills has served her Lambda State chapter in numerous leadership capacities while maintaining an active presence in her school community. Her contributions to both the classroom and to Kappa reflect the very best of what our organization stands for.
Born and raised in Georgia, Dr. Johnson-Mills earned her doctorate in Education Leadership and has spent her career in Georgia's public school system. She has been a Kappa member for over 20 years and continues to inspire the educators around her with her generosity of spirit and her tireless dedication to the students and communities she serves.
